FROM STATE-OF-THE-ART SCHOOLS TO SAFE STREETS, YVETTE ALEXANDER IS DELIVERING REAL RESULTS TO WARD 7.
- Completed more than $300 million in public projects over the last 4 years — the most in Ward 7 history.
- Protected the $102 million dollars in funding to ensure completion of the state of the art H.D. Woodson High School.
- Worked successfully with multiple groups to ensure completion of 3 new libraries (Anacostia, Dorothy Height, and Francis Gregory).
- Paved the way for the largest recreation center in the city,The Deanwood Recreation Center.
- Completed the new Employment Services Headquarters in Ward 7 bringing job opportunties and job training directly to Ward 7 residents.
- Fought for greater police presence to keep homicides and serious crimes at an all time low.
- Responded to and completed more than 5000 constituent service concerns.
